Privacy policy for Relandr
Jun 10, 2026

Introduction

Relandr is an occupation-information lookup tool built on public data. We keep data collection to an absolute minimum: apart from an email address you choose to leave, we do not collect any personally identifiable information.

What We Collect

  1. Email address (only when you submit it)

    • Purpose: notifying you when new features such as the full report become available.
    • You may request deletion of your email record at any time.
  2. Query content

    • The job title, industry, years of experience, and province you enter are logged to improve matching quality. They are not linked to your identity.
  3. Traffic source parameters

    • Source tags in links (e.g. ?source=xhs) are used only for channel analytics.
  4. Rate-limiting records

    • To prevent abuse we store a salted, irreversible hash of your IP address, used solely for daily query limits and purged regularly.

What We Do Not Collect

  • No names, phone numbers, addresses, or ID information
  • No account registration required
  • No third-party advertising or tracking cookies

Data Storage and Security

Data is stored in an access-controlled cloud database. We take reasonable technical measures to prevent unauthorized access, though no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your email or query records with third parties, except where required by law.

Data Sources

Occupational classifications (NOC 2021), wages, and outlook data shown by this tool come from publicly available data published by Statistics Canada and Job Bank. Data vintages are labelled on the page.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time; updates will be posted on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
